Evelyn Glennie shows how to listen

So, a thing about Evelyn Glennie's performance that I was able to remember is that she is deaf, yet she can still listen through her body, and the vibrations that go through her body. So, what she was really saying is that she can hear through her body, not through her ears.
Listening to her performance, she can control the mood of the music she is playing through how she plays it, and you just feel the music vibrations in yourself that kinda control your mood.
Several different factors that controlled the music she played were what she felt, where she played the notes, and on what instrument she played.
"each person experiences music in their own way" is one of her quotes. I find this to be true because deaf people feel vibrations, people who cant speak (dumb is the literal term for this) play to say what they feel, and others just listen with their ears.

TV On The Go - Popular Science

1. In this article, they said that TV is no longer going to be all cable, and that in select cities, TV can be broadcasted to DVD players around there, as long as there is a receiver to pick up the signals.
2. I'd say it's a pretty big thing because now you don't need to have a huge setup in your living room, you can just watch TV in the office or somewhere else.
3. In 2010, this is going to be an awesome change because you can now watch TV anywhere, as long as you have a receiver for a DVD player.
4. I really didn't notice any obstacles other than cost and electricity, but since it uses so little electricity, and since it costs so little, I find that there's really no setbacks.

On Thin Ice - Popular Science

1. In 2005, a European space agency sent a rocket into space to measure the polar ice. The rocket ended up crashing in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, due to failures. Now, in the late February, they are deciding on sending another one into space to take even deeper measurements of the polar ice, which is costing them $207 million to re-do. Results are going to announced in the late future.
2. I find this really important because if we were to research into them deeply, we would be able to find traces of ancient and maybe even extinct animal DNA. Also, we may be able to find a solution to making ice that won't melt as fast.
3. The world will (hopefully) gain a new glimpse of life as we know it, because the satellite would be sent out in late February to gather information.
4. One of the main setbacks of this project would be if the satellite crashed again, like the last time.

Semester Goals Mysics

Goal: To complete my work and turn it in on time on the day it's due.
First Step: Study and keep up to date on the work.

Goal: To complete a project well with an A.
First Step: Study the concept thoroughly and memorize as much as I can, keeping the material nearby if needed.

Goal: To understand the concepts of forces well.
First Step: Study the notes I get "well and thoroughly".

The Origin of Zero

What really strikes me about these articles is the fact that they both explain a little about who really "discovered" zero. In the first article, It talked about how the first written ancient zero was in Mesopotamia. The second article talked about how the first zero was written in Babylon, which was a part of Mesopotamia in about 400-300 BC. Its quite strange, because there's no one historical answer to the origin of zero. They've decided this by using information from statues and other forms of sources, ranging from written on paper to written on tablets. As I explained earlier, no one person created a new number, but as people began to need a place holder representing nothing, they came up with the number zero. I really don't know how the world came to a consensus without efficient communication, but I would say that they just used what they had and did it the hard way, just so they could understand

Locker problem

Locker Problem
The locker problem was about the amount of lockers that would be opened up out of a thousand of them. Let's say that the first kid opens up every locker. Then the next kid, the second kid, would change the lockers with factors that have two in it. Thirty one of the one thousand lockers are open. All of the lockers are perfect squares, mainly because they have to open and close an odd number of times. This is because they have to open and close an odd number of times. If they were to open an odd number of times, it would most likely go open, closed, open. In the diagram below, it should show the lockers that are open through fifty.

Total lockers open in 50: 7
All lockers open
1x1=1 19x19=361
2x2=4 20x20=400
3x3=9 21x21=441
4x4=16 22x22=484
5x5=25 23x23=529
6x6=36 24x24=576
7x7=49 25x25=625
8x8=64 26x26=676
9x9=81 27x27=729
10x10=100 28x28=784
11x11=121 29x29=841
12x12=144 30x30=900
13x13=169 31x31=961
14x14=196
15x15=225
16x16=256
17x17=289

What Is Math? What Is Physics?

Note: this is for school purposes only.
Math is a compilation of algebra, geometry, and other stuff to create a worldwide language in which Physics are used. It developed numbers for use in all ways, nature, or form. It also requiresyou to THINK with your BRAIN in many ways.

Physics Are developed from formulas, and lots of numbers to figure out distance, such as 5260 ft. equal one mile (i think...) and work becomes other things people learn for dimensions.
